In April 26-30, 2021 in the St Petersburg (Russia) was held International Conference “OBA Stars: Variability and Magnetic Fields.”
The conference was held online. To the conference were attended by over 100 scientists from different countries of the world, including from USA, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and many other countries. At the conference, many well-known scientists in the field of stellar magnetism made plenary contributions on the advanced news of the stellar astrophysics.
To such an important international conference was attended employees of the Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi, professor N.Z. Ismailov and his students, Ph.D. Gunel Bahaddinova and Ph.D. Hamail Adigozalzadeh, who made a presentation on the variability of Herbig Ae/Be stars.
At the 4th day of the conference, first presentation from our observatory has made Hamayil Adigozalzadeh. In the report “Spectral variability in the Herbig Ae type Star HD 179218” she has presented results of spectral observations of the Ae/Be Herbig star HD179218 obtained at the 2 m telescope of ShAO for 2015-2018. She has demonstrated that the parameters of the emission line Hα twice show wave like smooth variability in time scale 40 days. First of them is more dib and more clearly detected of the variability of decrease and increase branches of the spectral parameters. Simultaneously additional emission component appearance and disappearance on the blue and red wings of the line are observed. For explaining of the variability of the star on the observational data, a magnetosphere model with rotational modulation, or duplicity of the system was supposed.
Then other collaborator of ShAO Gunel Bahaddinova presented her contribution with title “Long time spectral variations of the star HD 190073”. In the 4 years spectral observations of the star short and long-time variability of the spectral parameters of spectral lines have been researched. She has shown that on the 2015-2018 data parameters of the lines Hα and Hβ is changed quasiperiodically with time scale in 40 days. Inverse correlated equivalent widths and radial velocities. Moreover, for the 4-year time the star is demonstrated some smooth trend of variability in spectral parameters. These kind variations of the star may be connected the structure variations on the circumstellar disc.
At the end in the conference was presented a contribution by professor Nariman Ismailov, with title “Photospheric Variability of the Late B-Supergiant HD 199478”, where he has presented results of research of photospheric lines of the bright supergiant HD 199478. In this report shown that, the stellar wind is influenced only to the strong absorption lines. The parameters of such lines and the lines of stellar wind are changed synchronously. On the analysis of photospheric lines was shown that in the atmosphere of the star mainly a radial pulsation are occurred. For the first time was detected 45 days quasiperiodic variability in the spectra of the star.
All presentations of our scientists were heard with interest, some questions of scientists posed to the reports were answered and presented results were discussed.
