According to the Decree of the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, acad. Akif Alizadeh dated February 5, 2019, the results of the contest "Young Women in Science" organized by ANAS for young female scientists were announced.

It should be noted that 69 young women have been nominated for participation in the competition to encourage their academic activities by highlighting their research and scientific achievements in various fields of science and according to the results of the competition, the first place was awarded to Hamayil Adigozalzade, a senior scientific worker of Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after N.Tusi, PhD in Astronomy
