The next event devoted to "Science Day" will be held at Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi of ANAS, on March 15. In addition to the observatory staff, teachers and students of Shamakhy branch of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University will also take part in the event. Interesting reports will be presented by experts at the event.

It should be noted that this event is the third event organized by the Observatory within the framework of "Science Day". So far, on February 19, 2019, the Super Moon event was held at the Observatory and the Tusi-Bohm Planetarium, then the Astronomy Winter School was organized for the students of the leading universities of the country on 8-10 March.

Recall that, March 27 was established as the "Science Day" in Azerbaijan by President Ilham Aliyev's Order of 9 April 2018. The Scientific Research Coordination Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan has prepared an action plan for the first time to celebrate the "Science Day" at a high level. According to the action plan, a series of events are held in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS in connection with the "Science Day".
