Dear colleagues!
We are pleased to announce on the second International Conference "Alive Universe - from Planets to Galaxies", dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory (ShAO) named after N.Tusi of Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Republic on September 23-26, 2024.
Conference date and location: September 23- 24 in main building of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Javid ave.117, Baku city, and September 25 - 26 in settlement Mammadaliyev, Shamakhy district, Azerbaijan.
RATIONALE
The first International Conference “Alive Universe – from Planets to Galaxies” was successfully held in our observatory in 2022. In addition to local participants, about 40 foreign guests from different countries took part in the conference. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasiraddin Tusi at the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan (ShAO MSEA). Therefore, the second conference in this series is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of our observatory.
Nowadays, observational technology is actively developing, and information on the physical properties of various types of objects is increasing, especially thanks to the use of various space observatories. To keep up with the pace of developments keep abreast of news, and share experiences in the field of astrophysics, the scientific community needs to meet frequently. This is one of the main missions of our conference. In addition, this meeting will help astronomers in research or business relationships, as well as in finding international connections for future collaboration. We hope that the results of the conference will make a significant contribution to the knowledge base in these modern scientific fields of astronomy and astrophysics. Original results of famous and young scientists from different countries will be presented at the meetings of the conference on the physics of stars, galaxies and planets. The conference will also provide an opportunity for young scientists to present the results of their research. One of the most important tasks of the conference will be to establish contacts between scientists from various astronomical institutes to organize joint research projects.
